Composite Bonding
What is Composite Bonding?
Composite bonding (also known as tooth bonding or dental bonding) offers a solution for minor damage or gaps in teeth.
- Bonding is usually used for filling chips, fractures, or gaps between teeth, or for fixing discolouration.
- A composite resin is attached to a tooth and shaped to restore its original appearance.
- The colour of the resin is matched to your teeth, so it will appear as though it is a natural part of the tooth.
- Composite bonding is a non-invasive treatment used to correct a range of minor aesthetic imperfections on the teeth to give you a bright and even smile.

Bio Clear Composite Bonding
At Horbury Dental we use Bio Clear composite bonding, which is a cost-effective way of closing the gaps between your teeth (known as black triangles) without any tooth preparation/drilling. Black triangles can form due to gum disease or recessionand can often form after orthodontic treatment/teeth straightening.
Because Bioclear composites are heat/pressure-moulded to the teeth they are much stronger than traditional composites and can be used to build up worn down teeth with a lower risk of fracture.
